One of the many highlights of visiting Murchison Falls National Park is the launch trip from Paraa to the foot of the falls. Hippos and crocodiles are abundant and you will see elephants, buffaloes, water bucks and a variety of water birds like ducks, African Fish Eagle and sometimes the rare Shoebill.

For great, uncommon and exciting sport fishing, avid anglers can experience competitive fishing to see who catches the biggest Nile Perch on the River Nile (the record is 108kg)
